The top of the frame covers over the State name on the plate. The bottom mostly covers over "VETERAN" on the plate. once the plate and frame mounting holes align, the plate is no longer captured by the two tabs on the bottom. Less important, the frame does not state "Life Member" as I thought it would based on the title of the item. I will donate the frame to the local DAV thrift store.

1 unfortunatley looks like i cant use it, where the words a Century of service to veterans comes down to far over my Plate which blocks out half of the words TEXAS at the top of my plates, will probably get pulled over if i use i them ,

it's between 3-4 ratings make great but letters are small love for someone behind you at stop lite able to read it

This is really well-made and good looking product. The only problem is that the state of NC does not allow the name "North Carolina" to be covered which the bottom portion of the frame does. While generally the police overlook this, it is something else that needs to be considered.
